This beer is a respectful Orcadian nod to the pale ales of America’s West Coast. Crystal malt gives the beer sweet body and US hops provide plenty of punchy, citrus flavours.

500ml bottle from the Good Spirit Co, Glasgow. Pours a slightly cloudy amber with a white head. Aromas & tastes of fruits, citrus, biscuit & malt. Medium body. Soft light bitter finish. Enjoyable

500ml bottle bought at Eide Handel. Next-to-clear amber body, stable off-white head, fair lacing. Moderate aromas of earthy malts and herbal hops. Decent taste character of mid-sweet caramel malts joined by leafy hops. Bittersweet ending, with a hints of resinous hops. Medium bodied. Pizza friendly and quite alright. (Tromsø 17.04.2021).

500 ml bottle, from Gulating ølutsalg, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Deep golden colour, moderate white head. Malty aroma, crystal malts and hints of caramel. Malty and grainy flavour, fairly dry, hints of citric hops, medium bitter finish. Not really great.

Golden with a wnite head - Malt aroma with some hops as well - Malt body with a nice hop profile that ahs citrus and herbal flavours with some bitterness - The malt and hop flavours goes into the finish - This was nice

Cask at The New Inn, Colchester. Pours pale to mid gold with an average sized frothy off-white head. Aroma of hop, fruit, caramel, and malt with light floral notes. Moderate sweetness and medium plus bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. Pretty good.

Cask at the Queens Head, Wordsley. Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma is sweet hop and bready grass. Taste is quite bready with light tropical hop. Burnt toast finish.

Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy finish.
