Cask handpull at County Hotel JDW Ashford Clear chestnut colour lasting cream head. Malty best bitter. Light bitterness on the finish. Some tea tannin character on the malts. Yes malty. Some hedgerow fruit flavour. Mostly brown malt. OK

Coggleshall Beer Festival. Cask. Clear amber beer, small cream colour head. Smooth and fairly dry palate, modest fine carbonation. Smooth malts, a little toffee caramel and light creamy sweetness. Light floral hops that start sweetish but develop a spicy bittermess. Modest fruits and marmalade. Light finish. Balanced and quite drinkable.
