This is the latest addition to the Achouffe Brewery... The aroma of Cherry CHOUFFE gives pride of place to cherries. It also reveals notes of strawberry, almond, spices and sweet Port. Round-bodied, soft and delicate, Cherry CHOUFFE delights the gourmands among us. It has a satisfying finish, with a very slight bitterness.

Bottle at the Rusty Bucket, Eltham. Red pour with a pink head. Aromas of glacé cherries, redcurrants, raspberry. Flavours of cherry drops, raspberry, strawberry jam. Long, sweet and fruity finish.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma pannosa beige/rosa fine persistenze, color mogano/rosso, al naso lieviti amarene e mandorle, in bocca è cremosa spicca latte di mandorla marzapane poi sciroppo e ciliege, carbonazione moderata, corpo rotondo, alcool ben bilanciato, lieve acidula, molto dolce con amaro percettibile. Ottima equilibrata non ti stanca quando la bevi. Mi è piaciuta. c. Simply Market Numana 05.07.19

Lots of cherry but comes off a little intense on the Syrupy side. Sticky. Some florals but not like the chouffes I love. Ruby red pour with lots of pink bubbles. Bottle.

Bottle from Cap Tap. Pours clear, very dark ruddy, with a pink tinged beige head. Aroma of cherry over a caramel aspect. Med body. Flavor is very cherry. Detectable malt. It is far from dry. It does have a bitter that may come form cherry skin. Whatever, it is very delicious. A desert beer rather than a quaffing ale. Very nice.

The underlying beer is a bit too hidden by the intense cherry flavour. Tastes a bit artificial, like grenadine. But overall its a very sweet tasty beer. online belgian beer factory

Clear reddish amber colour, tall frothy pinkish head, good retention. Aroma sweet malt, cherries, marzipan, almond, yeast notes. Taste light heavy to heavy sweet, slightly bitter and a tad sourish, cherries, cherry lemonade, marzipan, candy sugar, spicy notes; retronasal marzipan. Fruity sweetbitter aftertaste, sourish notes, medium boy, sticky texture, average carbonation, nice.

Bottle shared by Inoven. Beautiful ruby red, dark red color, full sized pinkish head that lasts for quite a while. Aroma is sweet overripe canned cherries, sweet cherry bubblegum. Really not nice imo. Flavor though is a bit bitter, still those same sweet canned cherries dominate but a little less obvious it seems. It is sweet though, a typical kriek beer I'd say. Not something I'd order but no flaws I think.

Flesje gedeeld met Benzai. Robijnrood bier met matig schuim dat snel weg trekt. Aroma van kauwgom en smaak van zoete kersen. Nasmaak is iets bitter. In 2019 beoordeeld met 4-3-5-1-7. Nu nogmaals gedronken en verdient het bier toch iets meer.

33cl bottle from Conad Superstore, Verucchio, Italy. Pours dark plum with pinkish foam, fine. Aroma is intense of cherry syrup. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is markedly sweet, way too much, and highly artificial. Finish is nothing special.
