This is the latest addition to the Achouffe Brewery... The aroma of Cherry CHOUFFE gives pride of place to cherries. It also reveals notes of strawberry, almond, spices and sweet Port. Round-bodied, soft and delicate, Cherry CHOUFFE delights the gourmands among us. It has a satisfying finish, with a very slight bitterness.

Bottled 330ml. -from Geant Albertville. Ruby red coloured, medium sized off-white head, cherries in the nose (bit artificial). Cherry syrup sugary taste with some light acidity and rather dry sweet finish. Too sweet and a bit artificial.

Deep red colour, small pinky head. Aroma is sweet cherries, saccarine and some tartness. Medium-bodied, active carbonation. Front is sweet with cherries then leading to tartish finish. For cherry-lovers.

Bottle @ Blandede Belgiske Bolscher, Ratebeer Odense, 2018. Dark ruby red with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of almond, marzipan and artificial cherry aroma along with a spicy touch. Sweetish fruity flavour with spice and bubblegum. Sharp acidic bite.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BBE 02/2020, from Alko, 20181109) The beer poured deep ruby red and clear. Its head was medium sized and pink. Aroma had sweetness and canned cherries. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were sweetness, cherries and bitterness. Aftertaste had sweetness, cherries and bitterness. A poor sweet brew. Why was this one brewed in the first place.?

From the bottle. Red with a creamy, light beige head. Aroma of cherry, a touch medicinal but within my tolerance. Taste is well balanced—sweet, fruity, full of cherry, but with just enough bitterness and a slightly watery touch at the end to keep things both interrupting and refreshing. Body is medium, carbonation is mild. No sign of the 8% ABV at all. A dangerous one. Good.

Bottle 330ml. @ home on the terrace. [ As Cherry Chouffe Rouge ].Clear medium to light red colour with a average to small, frothy, good to fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white - pink head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, wheat - yeast, moderate yeasty, cherry stones, marzipan, almonds, cherry. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to heavy bitter with a average duration, cherry stone bitter, marzipan, almons, yeast, light tart cherries. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20180905] 6-3-5-3-12

3rd Aug 2018; Berlin Beer Mile Festival. A lady friend bought this and I had a couple of 'rate-able sips and sniffs'. It's red has a pink head and is a sweet cherry version for kids and women with a sweet tooth. Not my thing at all, my friend however loved it! Scored objectively.
