This is the latest addition to the Achouffe Brewery... The aroma of Cherry CHOUFFE gives pride of place to cherries. It also reveals notes of strawberry, almond, spices and sweet Port. Round-bodied, soft and delicate, Cherry CHOUFFE delights the gourmands among us. It has a satisfying finish, with a very slight bitterness.

From tap. Pours hazy amber with a dense, creamy and pink head. Aroma is cherry candy. Sweet, cherry candy and mild sourish. Mellow and slight fruity. Sweet and citric finish.

Deep red colour with lacy head. Aroma and flavour have awful artificial sweet cherry syrup.

Pours veey dark red. Small pink head. Smell is very sugary cherry juice. Taste is sweet, sugary, mild maltyness in the hidden back. Not great. For the fans of the sweet cherry beers this is a must chase though.

Draught, small stable reamy pink hwad, clwar and quite deep red color, aroma and flavor of cherries and marzipan with some roots coming through in the flavor and the cherries feel a bit artificial, quite steong but not cloying sweetness with a light pleasant sourness to balance. Quite nice and drinkable.

Draught at Porter & Sons. Nice deep red color with a frothy pink head. Aroma of somewhat candy-ish cherry, marzipan, almonds. Sweet flavor, with cherry, sugar, kinda candy-ish, light tart hint, faint bitterish hint. Medium-bodied. Not bad.
