Craft Islington. Cask. Almost clear amber beer, small bubbly cream colour head. Smooth and semi dry palate, not much carbonation. Light malts with an equally light rye tang. Mild pine, ripe orange and a touch of skunk. Some apple towards the end. Poor condition and lacking any hop brightness. Very disappointing.

(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 25 Nov 2017. 6.8%) Dark amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with orange peel, apricots and caramel. Malty, fruity taste with notes of dried fruit, orange marmalade, apricots, sweet toasty malt and a balanced citric bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced. Nice one.
