Bottle from Dram Shop, Sheffield. Lumpy, reddy brown. Big, thick, dirty white, lasting head. Light caramel, soft red fruit. Some soapiness. Taste is light, soap sweetness. Soap again, on the palate. Hmm...

Bottled@HBF2013. Hazy deep amber colour with a small white head. Aroma is toffee, raisins, berries and some herbs in a quite soft mix. Flavour is fruity, nectary, spicy and some mild caramel maltyness. Balanced and smooth with a mild spicyness and fruityness in the after taste.

33 cl bottle @ HBF’13, BBE 02/2015
Aroma has hay, some resin and woody notes. Flavour has strong hay notes some toffee and woody notes. Odd, but not bad. Especially when looking at the ABV.

(Bottle, 0.33 l, at HBF2013) The beer poured brown and cloudy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were roasted malts, sweetness, molasses and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and mildly bitter. This beer is a dunkel or a brown ale but not a bitter. Rather good.

33cl bottle from Trafalgar Wines, Brighton. Hazy brown red colour thin beige head. Malty aroma. It’s a malty beer with not much hop. Good quality malt, but still a little one dimensional
