Cask at the Southampton Arms, London on 13th February 2026. Hazy amber with shallow off-white foam affording full lacing. Fruity aroma. Citrus and berry fruits in-mouth and a finish of tart and sweet fruits and candies. Light to medium bodied with an engaging mouthfeel.

Can from M&S, Brooklands. Aroma has citrus and malts. Gold. Thin translucent white head. Medium bitter. Quinine. Tart citrus. Spice. Underlying buttery malts. But all a tad low key. Light bodied. Thin if slick. Fizzy carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Can see why this is still labelled as a Gold.

330ml can - Pours a clear orange gold colour with a small white head that settled. Aroma is marmalade, toasted malts, Earl Grey tea and hops. A moderately sweet taste, toasted malt, citrus and light spicy flavours with a semi-dry grassy bitter finish.

500 ml bottle, from Ales By Mail. ABV is 4%, Clear deep golden colour, moderate white head. Aroma of grain, malts and toffee, a hint of fruity hops. The flavour has citrussy hops on a light body with some malts, but not sweet. Medium bitter aftertaste. Easy drinking.
