Stile birra di Natale. Ambrata, dall’aspetto limpido con schiuma sottile e persistente. Le fresche note di zenzero equilibrano una birra di carattere e dal sostenuto grado alcolico. Il suo aroma coinvolgente ed il suo gusto pieno la rendono ottima compagna delle fredde serate d’inverno.

All'olfatto si esprimono sentori di sottobosco. La finezza olfattiva è molto elevata e l'esistenza olfattiva è apprezzabile. Il manto birroso superiore resiste poco. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta nuvoloso. Bollicine fini costituiscono la forma della frizzantezza, con carbonazione persistente. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è strutturato. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è molto elevata. La continuità gustativa è lunga e diffusa. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è intenso Sulla lingua arrivano sentori di miele, crosta di pane, frutta secca, agrumi, arancia ross, frutta passita, cuoio, vino Porto e vaniglia.

bottiglia 33 cl, schiuma beige media grana evanescente, color ambrato carico torbido, al naso vino Porto zucchero di canna esteri frutta matura uvetta sotto spirito leggero zenzero, in bocca è liquorosa malto tostato legno frutta candita leggero liquirizia tante spezie, corpo strutturato, alcool ben in evidenza, carbonazione leggera, oily, molto dolce con amaro accentuato lungo nel finale. Bottle from Voldby. Hazy amber brown with a small white head and lots of small floaties. Aroma is sweet, malty, caramel, candy sugar, spicy and yeasty. Flavor is quite sweet. Sweet finish with warming alcohol. 050421

330 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 9%. Amber colour, large beige head. Moderate aroma, some malts, a little caramel, hints of mild spices and damp basement. Fizzy mouthfeel. Medium sweet flavour, caramel and quite dominant Christmas spices (ginger and cinnamon). Peppery and bitter finish. Not perfectly balanced.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a hazy amber with a small, roughish off-white head. Spicy, typical Belgian esters and then quite some Xmas spices - could be cinnamon, cardamom, cloves. Rich, sweet body, lowish carbonation, warming alcohol. A fairly solid, strong Belgian. 270121

Shared bottle at home. Pours hazy copper with little off-white head. Aroma of caramel, raisins, some vinous notes. Tastes sweet with little bitterness. Medium bodied, smooth mouth feel.
