Bottle. Beer Central, Sheffield. Lightly hazy gold. Skim, and dense ring of bright, white head. Smells like a Christmas tree. Spruce. Sap. Slightly woody. Underneath, there are sweet, buttery malts. Taste is sweet and sappy. Light, pine needle bitterness. Soft mouthfeel. Bit of chew. Fine carbonation. Finish is sticky and sappy bitter. You can’t say they haven’t nailed a spruce IPA.

Very hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, reasonable fine minerally carbonation. Smooth silky malts impart a light sweetness. Good pine and lots of cooling spruce from the spruce tips added to this beer. Touch of orange peel. Smooth finish. Does what it says on the tin, simple stuff but amusing.
