Cask at the Pigs Ear 2011, London. Pours dark, pure brown with a creamy white head. Citrus and Christmasy spices in the aroma. Flavor is very sweet, with lots of dark malts, light cocoa, orange and ripe dark fruits. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Faintly warming on the finish with further dark malt character, spices and fruits. A great Christmas beer. The distinct, seasonal-inspired elements of this beer come together incredibly well.

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2011. Deep amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, wood, spices and some mild notes of berries. Flavour is fruity, spicy, a bit warming alcohol, some syrupy sweetness as well. Quite bodied, but at the same time lacks a bit depth in the flavour.
