Mother Kelly's. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth, pretty dry and has decent fine carbonation. Thin and sweetish malts. Floral sweetness. A kind of floral creamy sweetness I'm guessing is the meadowsweet and decent Williams pears. Trace of lemon keeps the sweetness in check. Smooth light finish. Wonder of wonders! A decent pear beer! Rocking horses do take a dump!

Keg at Mother Kelly’s - Bethnal Green. Pours hazy orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds pithy citrus, some lime zest. Light to medium sweet flavour with a bit of rindy bitterness, oily pine, faint cheese and biscuits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with more oily peel, some bread. Not bad.
