GBBF Day 4. Cask. Clear deep amber - brown beer, a few pale tan bubbles. Palate is light and a little flat. Sweetish malts, modest dark character. Mild plummy fruits and a pinch of spice. Light semi dry finish. Drinkable and comes over as a porter more than a CDA, condition is a bit tired.

Cask at gbbf 2015 day 4. Aroma is burnt pine hop, with toasted grains, mineral, faint choc. Some alcohol on the nose. Mahogany brown coloured pour with a reluctant tan head. Flavour is composed of berry and pine wood, toast, faint choc, toast, but thin. Palate is light grains, moderate to low carbonation. Sub par.
