Craft Clerkenwell. Cask. Clear amber beer, tidy white head. Very modest carbonation in the otherwise neutral palate. Light floral caramel and semi sweet tangy dried fruits. Finishes semi dry. Tasty and clean but could do with some more life.

Cask, handpump at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, Tuesday 18th February 2014 Conker brown in colour with a small beige head atop. A little fruitiness on the nose and a touch of cocoa. Smooth and very easy drinking there is some chocolate (milk) in the mouth, trying to see if I can detect the yeast character, there is a little infused dried fruits. Its a very good beer, we had this alongside the XT Animal/Elephant Collaboration, both of these were very good beers. Looking forward to the whisky cask version now. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov15 3.8

Cask at the Waggon & Horses, Halesowen. Pours dark brown with a small head. Aroma is dark berries and bread. Taste has nutty, milky yeast to start and a raisin and toffee finish.
