Tap East Birthday bash. Cask. Almost opaque dark brown beer, no real head. Smooth dry palate with light fine carbonation. Light touch of dark malts. Mild dark fruits. Whispers of coffee and lactose. Light dry finish. Not bad at all.

Cask at the Tap East Second Anniversary Party - Stratford, London. Pours brown with a light, beige cream head. Good and toasted malts, moderate sweetness, light tangy dark fruits, burnt wood, earth, toasty pine. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. A bit of dry cocoa in the finish, further burnt pine. OK.
