Dean Swift. Cask. Clear deep amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palats is smootu with modest fine carboation. Very light touch of dark malts. Milky coconut, sweet but not cloying. Tangy dark fruits. There is a bare whisper of sulphur, nothing serious. Finishes smooth. Easy drinking.

Had this at Oxford Beer Festival, Oxford, Thursday 17th October 2013 Pours dark brown, almost black. The aroma is one thing and one thing only COCONUT, big dessicated coconut aromas waft off if this. In the mouth it is still evident of course but a sweetness with some creamy vanilla and a sprinkling of cocoa helps to calm it down a little. It’s fine, perhaps a little one dimensional but too be fair I don’t think it was trying to be anything else. A8 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6
