Chelmsford Winter Beer Festival in KEGS! Clear dark brown beer, decent pale tan bubbly head. Palate is softish with fine carbonation. Tangy dried fruits and dark fruits. Trace of cherry (I’m not reading the programme notes here I swear!). Well buried pinches of spice and salt. Whispers of dark malt and lactose. Finishes sweet and tangy. Complex Old Ale, sweet and tasty.
