Cask at the Cock Tavern, London. Pours clear copper with a light, white foam head. Sugary malt nose, some leaves. Bready sweet flavor, more leaves, faint pine, orange. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sweet finish, lightly dry, more bread, toasty sugar. Not great.

Cock Tavern. Cask. Thanks to Leighton for the share. Light haze on this amber beer. no real head. Softish palate, a little dry. Sweet light malt, Trace of caramel. Mild orange hops. Distinct sweet apple. Finishes neutral. A bit green and the hops level here suffers in comparison with the Howling Hops beers which are much more hoppier.
