A light, fruity and very refreshing copper coloured beer with a rich malt and pleasant hop aroma.

Chelmsford Beer Festival. Light haze on this deep gold beer. Good suddy off white head. Light sulphur on the nose, does not carry over. Dry palate. Dark marmalade bitterness. Light touch of orange lemon citrus. Quite a dry finish.

Cask handpump in the bar at The Bastille Day Beer Festival, Horse & Groom, Caulcott, Oxon, Friday 13th July 2012 This was available at the bar and not with all of the other beers out the back, so technically I suppose it was not really a Beer Festival beer. Pours amber, no head. Bitter but also very buttery, dry with a light toffeeness. Too much butter, quite a disappointment. A5 A3 T5 P3 Ov10 2.6
