A touch of marzipan at a stretch. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - a decent mild.

Near black with smooth lasting head. Very little on the aroma side, taste is a little bland, but body is pretty solid. Best of a very few options.

Keg at a pub (in fact a couple of pubs in Bacup, Lancashire) whilst following the famous Bacup Coco-Nutters around for the pubs of this town for the day Easter Saturday 07.04.12 Soft in the mouth with a light creaminiess, touch nutty, dark brown in colour, easy drinking and despite not being anything special at £1.80 a pint a bargain!
