We sit patiently behind our net curtains, criticising our neighbours, and when the greengrocer rolls by on his cart, we dash outside with a shovel to collect the shit deposited by his old nag. Then we throw it, still steaming, into this beautiful light copper bitter characterised by refreshingly bitter hops balanced by a note of malt sweetness. Now that really is Horseshit!

One of a bunch of potty mouthed beers purchased at the Essex Food Fair at Cressing Temple Barn. Hazy amber beer, residual white head. Light tangy nose. Dry light and crisp palate. Too dry! Reasonably well balanced light malt and light hops but over all comes across as wishy washy. Not good when combined with the overdry palate. Many an old codger might enjoy this but not me.
