For those of you who like it a bit different, this is a cheeky, pale golden English beer to which a drop of cherry cordial has been added. Okay, whoever spanked her may have gone a bit too far, but we didn’t, so you should taste a refreshingly well hopped beer with a delicate fruity, cherry aftertaste. Go on, you know you want it!

One of a bunch of potty mouthed beers purchased at the Essex Food Fair at Cressing Temple Barn. Hazy amber beer, tiny white head. Light airy overdry palate. Soapy-perfumey malt with artificial cherry. Very dry finish with a bitter aftertaste. Cracking label on this bottle - worthy of Fallen Angel. Pity the beer is godawful!
