Cask @ The Waterhouse, Manchester. Darker clear amber with a creamy-smooth head. Nice pale malts, some breadiness, smooth for strength. Traditional winter warmer with a gentle bitterness.

Bottle conditioned beer with cinnamon and cloves. Sharp beer, somewhat Belgian like. Light spice and sourness. Refreshing.

Cask, Hoylake Lights. Hazy dark bronze colour with a thin biege head. Aroma was dark fruit/rum . Flavour was muted with a hint of spice. A tad watery with little in the finish. Probably not at its best served ice cold though as this was in typical jdw style.
