Half-pint as Wigan Brew House Wigan Junction, cask shared with Finn at Briton's Protection. Clear golden-brown body, spotty lacing, filmy layer. Quite inviting smell of grainy fruits. Decent malt-fruity flavours, moments of caramel and leafy hops. Bittersweet tail. Well made Brit bitter. (Manchester 22.01.2020).

Cask at the Sussex Arms, Twickenham Green - 13/10/12. Slightly hazed dark golden with a thin off white head that soon clears. Sweet malt nose, a little toffee and some spice. Tastes of toffee, a little biscuity, some nuttiness. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, bitter finish. File under ’W’ - inoffensive but boring.

Cask handpull at Market Porter. It’s a bitter. Decent hop on finish especially. Fairly decent. Copper colour, thin lasting beige head. Decent bitter which I quite liked though Tom liked the Bowman more.
