A dark ruby mixture of exotic bits and bobs. Drinks like a hoppy IPA and so proving that looks can be deceiving…

Cask, handpump at Lamb & Flag, Oxford, Sunday 3rd August 2014 Pours dark chestnut with a light beige head. A tiny bit warm but taste is a little smokey. The name is apt, it does feel cobbled together from odds & sods, middling fruitiness, a bit malty, not bad. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Chelmsford Summer Beer Fest. Cask. Clear dark brown beer, few pale tan bubbles for a head. Palate is dry with modest carbonation. Thin dark malts but carrying roasty bitterness and a touch of coffee. Hops are pretty bitter and a touch nettle like. Trace of citrus. Light dry finish. Long bitter linger. Solid.
