Cask @ Bar Fringe in Manchester several years ago. Mild porter but not too impressive at the time.

13th July 2010. Chelmsford Beer Festival. Clear dark brown beer, little suddy tan head. A light touch of sulfur on the nose. Light semi dry palate. Sweet dark toffee malt - pretty well balanced with some light tangy orange marmalade hop. Sweet orange develops towards the finish which is dry.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 05/08/10. Deep brown in colour with reddish undertones and a slight, off-white head. Dry, toasty beer, with some chocolate, a touch of sweet fruit and decent, bitter finish. Memorable.
