Can at home. Pours deep brown, nose is roasted, liquorice, tonka, cream, taste is similar, lots of tonka spice.

Black beer, thick brown head. Malty, tonka aroma. Flavour has a big hit of tonka which I'm totally here for, some dark chocolate, a little wood, toasty malt, a little sweet liquorice. I love stouts with tonka bean through them so I'm all over this. My only real gripe is it'd have been lovely to be just a little fuller and richer.

Keg at MSBH. It pours darkest brown to black with a medium tan head. The aroma is earthy, roasted, toasty, umami, beans, dull vanilla, cacao, dark chocolate, dark fruits and cherry. The taste is dry, bitter - sweet, toasty, umami, charred oak, bean, vanilla, vinous, dried fruits, leather, tannin, touch of tannin, astringency, dark chocolate, cacao and coffee beans with a toasty finish. Fulsome and moderate carbonation. Very drying finish. Good, but very drying.
