4th December 2009. Pigs Ear. On the same programme as it’s little brother ’Brewers Swansong’. Cloudy dark brown beer. Zero carbonation. Sweet porty malt - very rich. Repressed red fruit and also a little bubblegum. A very warming afterglow. Palate is semi soft and a little silky. A little dash of pepper. Very complex beer and I enjoyed this one much more than it’s little brother. Great beer tempered by the very sad story behind it. (See description of ’Brewers Swansong’)
