9th October 2008. GABF. Sweet start, then rich sweet porty notes and chocolate. Dry finish with a little (not unpleasant) spiritiness.

(10/9/08) Draught sample at the brewpub in Chicago. Opaque black-colored with a brown head. Aroma of dark chocolate and burnt malt. Sweet flavor with chocolate, some caramel, dark fruit notes and a bit of alcohol in the finish. Medium to full-bodied. Nice stuff.
