Pictish do so many of these single hop brews it's hard to keep up with what I've tried. This is a re-rate from the Oldham Beer Festival 2017 for me, but it's in better nick in Rochdale this time around. A pale clear golden obviously hoppy brew, it has a dryness, a light bitterness, a hint of fruit, and whilst nothing too much to shout about is a pleasant easy experience.

Cask at the Royal Standard, Wooburn Common. A bright pale amber pour with a loose white head; lemony aroma; strongly bitter taste, quite herbal, with a touch of spice and a solid malt body. Clean, crisp and bitter.
