Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is dry and crispy. Thin pale malts bring mild grainy sweetness. Light dry cream. Dry florlaness. Touches of lime and pith. Pretty bitter dry finish. Curiously drinkable despite the dryness and grain.

Bottle. Bier Huis, Ossett. As Unknown Pleasures Re-Release Limited Edition Special. Cloudy gold. Messy film of white. Light caramel, butterscotch aroma. Some fusty grain. Taste has more of the butterscotch sweetness. Turns pithy bitter. Not much in between. Decent body. Finishes moderate, pithy bitter, with even more of that butterscotch thing. Can’t imagine why they chose this one to re-release. Not good. Great label, though.
