The national standard pale lager of the country of Gabon in equatorial Africa apparently, thanks tderoeck! Irregularly shaped, snow white, medium thick, quickly opening and dissipating head over a crystal clear, very purely golden blonde beer. Aroma of cold cooked rice, honey, rubber, grass, cereals. Neutral onset, sharply fizzy carbonation, thinnish cereally and grainy maltiness, very simple but still with a somewhat fuller white-bready edge, leading to a very mildly grassy finish yet hardly bitter, while this annoying cereally sweetishness lingers. Your run-of-the-mill African pale lager, but a nice country tick indeed.

7/III/20 - 50cl bottle from a trade, shared @ 1st Official Brewver Meeting / Belgian Beer Geek Winter Gathering (2020), BB: 25/IX/20 (2020-233)
Clear pale blond beer, small irregular white head, unstable, non adhesive. Aroma: lots of cardboard, cow fodder, fruity touch, oxidized. MF: ok carbon, medium to light body. Taste: bad, cardboard, stale beer, very unpleasant, hint of citrus, soft bitterness, bad. Aftertaste: malty, soft bitterness, meh.

16oz can pours a clear gold with some cloudy, white head. Nose is OK, malt, corn, mild perfume. Flavor has corn and a little butter, yeast too. Watery finish. Could be worse.

Actually not bad compared to many national lagers. Golden pour. Light straw and even a hint of barley. Can from Travlr.
