Cask, handpump at The Crafty Crow, Nottingham, Friday 16th January 2015 Pours reddy amber with a white head. I rather like Raw who I think are a jolly good brewery, sadly this isn’t one of their better efforts its a tad too conservative and rather ordinary better, however it isn’t helped by the fact that it is also past its best. Cask-conditioned at the Three Tuns, Bristol 19/12/2011. Deep amber with a slight white head. Aroma of citrus fruits, a touch of caramel and biscuit malts. Flavour had more fruit and malty sweetness, with a pleasant bitter finish. Good.
