This brown ale boasts flavours of hazelnut, whilst biscuit and caramel intertwine with the nutmeg, providing delicate sweet notes and gentle spice.
Taking its name from the sea surrounding the Maluku Islands of Indonesia, from where nutmeg originates, this is a celebration of the sweet and warming qualities of the spice.

Can from the Black Toad. Appearance - brown and murky, rather than opaque. Creamy off-white head. Nose - massive nutmeg and mace. Something brown bread and slightly raisin. Taste - yep, raisin and nutmeg, now just a hint of nut. Palate - medium bodied, creamy and spicy middle and finish. Overall - interesting, don't usually go for adjuncts but good beer.

Keg @ Albert's Schenke, Liverpool. Reddish-brown with a head. Crisp fair nutty taste, with its texture pretty easy to swallow.
