Bottle thanks to cgarvieuk. Appearance - amber and clear with a nicely proportioned, off white head. Nose - sweet malt and floral honey. Taste - dried orange, floral honey and malt loaf. Palate - creamy in texture with a light to medium body. Lightly sweet on the finish. Overall - nice.

Bottle courtesy of Nick, brewer, consumed at home Monday 16th November 2020 (my birthday), about to cook Chicken Yadda and listening to Hum - Inlet. Pours hazy amber with a white head, light maltiness on the nose, soft mouthfeel. Hoppy a little numbing on the tongue and mintiness like the IPA, definitely think that the Phoenix is adding the mint (herby taste but I get mint) malty underbelly, some rustic earthy hops. Absolutely fine but not really showing the abv or complexity of a traditional Old Ale.
