Can from Great Grog. Dark brown body with a beige head. Faint lacing. Aroma of coffee, blueberry and pine. Flavour of roasted malt and pine. Medium body with a smooth mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Rich and roasted. Punches well above the 5.2% ABV. Love the can design.

440ml can – Pours a dark brown colour with an average sized foamy beige head. The aroma is brown bread, roasted malts with some ashy notes. A medium light roasted sweet taste, light roasted malt, dark toasted brown bread and earthy flavours with a drying roasted ashy bitterness. Very nice.

Can at home in Hackney - picked up from Clapton Craft. Pours deep brown with a creamy, beige head. Nice, solid brown ale, with moderate sweetness, rich and pleasant ashy roast, tobacco, bitter cocoa, burnt leaves, earth. Medium bodied with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Bittersweet in the finish, more strong roasted malt character, baking cocoa, drying ashy notes. Great stuff.
