Mahogany brown with a thin light beige head.
Nose is mellow smoke, cherry pipe tobacco, toffee, dark malts.
Taste comprises modest smoke, cherry skins, toasted brown sugars, toffee fudge.
Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, drying close with a kiss of alcohol.
Okay but not as good as its raspberry peer.

Hmmm, so this a smoke beer whilst its sister Raspberry job is a barleywine? Pretty much the same affair as the Raspberry Rauch. Caramel malts a little stronger, soft smoke a little lighter. Soft ripe cherry. A mellower but richer affair.
