Super malty, but also wet paper musty. Semi sweet on the nose, but cloyingly sweet on the finish. Medium bitter, hazelnut, dark malts, and booze. Not great.

Des noisettes et du caramel légèrement brulé, enrobé d’un alcool bien présent nous donne un olfactif assez puissant. Brune aux reflets rubis et bien limpide. La mousse est pétillante et éphémère. En bouche, c’est caramélisé avec un alcool dominant. Caramel fondant, accents de noisettes, chocolat sucré, léger miel et alcool composent la palette gustative. Les esters rappellent la cerise au marasquin. Des houblons épicés et poivrés complètent le tout. Le corps est ample et la carbonatation piquante. L’alcool se substitue à l’amertume dans cette Brown Ale Américaine aux houblons bien en sourdine. L’apport malté est honorable et sucré. Un houblonnage plus intense et diversifié aurait été apprécié.
