Arômes de torréfaction bien en évidence. Croute de pain, café, chocolat noir. Liquide brun foncé, presque noir, avec des reflets roux et assez limpide. Mousse épaisse, crémeuse et bien persistante. Torréfaction également bien présente en bouche rappelant à peu près les mêmes éléments qu’en olfactif. Le corps est un peu mince et la carbonatation assez élevée. Emphase sur la torréfaction et complexité des éléments maltés en deçà de mes attentes. O:6.51 V:4.813 G:5.969 C:3.331 G:12.107 T:32.73

First Quebec Schwarzbier of the night. Seems clear enough, dark brown colour with a copper-ruby highlights. The head is big frothy, almost creamy, very long lasting and with thick creamy lacing. The malts used in here give a beautiful nose of roasted malt base with coffee, nuttiness, hints of chocolate and fresh herbs. The taste is milder, with the burnt barley balanced with the hops in the finish. Not overly dry, but just well enough to be smooth in the mouth. Quite an easy-drinking Schwarzbier that is fine.
