Taster at brewery. Light amber, small, finely beaded head. Bourbon notes first in the aroma, brown sugar, bread dough. Bourbon leads the taste too, sweet, warm, faint triple notes. Tasty AF. Damn that's good

Bottle. Pours clear golden, small off-white head, good lacing. Aroma is Brett, vanilla, oak, Belgian yeast, bourbon. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus funky, light bitter. Lots of Brett, bourbon and wood, some Belgian Yeast peppery, grains of paradise, along with some grass and oranges. Medium body.

Bottle @ the rake dungeon obtained from my rotbox. Pours a touch hazy golden orange appearance with a thin off white head. The aroma is full of tannins and a bunch of leather. There’s some whiskey, bourbon, honey, apples, and a bit of spices in the nose as well. Medium body. A little tart and twangy flavor that comes off as tart red grapes. Definitely some bourbon, loads of tannins, leather, grainy wood, and white fruits. A touch boozy. A little strange but sort of fun.

From the November 2013 3R6P tasting. +++ Sampled from a 22 oz brown bottle this beer poured a hazy yellow-gold color with a medium sized foamy off white head that left moderate lacing. The aroma was sweet and tangy golden fruits, bourbon and honey. The flavor was very sweet and tangy honey, bread, table sugar, oak, bourbon, a hint of coconut and leathery scotch. Long sweet and tangy finish of honey, oak, coconut and leather. Moderately full bodied - almost syrupy. Very nice.
