Can. A big, light beige head forms over a reddish dark, dark brown body. Soon diminishing into a thin, creamy layer. Rather weak on the nose, roasted mostly, some coffee and dried fruits in the back. Roasted flavor, a rye bread touch and some dried fruits. Very watery on the palate, creamy and soft. Roasted, bitter finish. A decent one considering the strength, but way, way too watery. 120819

Can @ fonefan tasting. Nice head with good duration. Color is close to black. Aroma and taste are roast malt, water, notes of licorice and notes of caramel. Nice aroma but taste is lacking.

440ml widget-can from Tescos. Pours deep ruby with a dense cream head; aroma of chocolate malt; thin and watery with a mocha flavour, grainy body; and a neutral finish. Not bad as an alternative to a real Guinness.

Can at home ... deep red black ... thick cream light tan head ... metalic roast malt nose ... creamy body ... soft mellow malts ... light roast ... low bitterness .. light fruityness ... little thin but not as much as i expected ... soft toffee roast ... hint of chocolate ... again think metalic hint ... its ok.

Draught at O’Neills, Dublin. Near black, rich creamy head. Mildly roasty nose. Dryish, creamy and light bodied. Some roasty coffee - a bit diluted compared to Guinness Draught, but still functional. Good for a low alcohol.
