Cask at the "Southern Ale Adventure" Beer Festival at the Prince of Wales, Farnborough. An amber pour with a loose white head; caramel malt aroma; dry caramel malt taste; with a lingering malty finish. A pleasant light bitter.

Cask at St. Urho’s Pub. Copper color, small white head. Sweetish raisiny aroma. Light-bodied. Raisins, overriped fruits, English hops. Decent sweetish real ale although not very Interesting.

Cask @Angleterre. Amber color, thick white head, sweet toffee, berries in aroma. Flavor similar, quite sweet stuff. Some white bread as well. Boring.

Cask at Black Door, Helsinki. Colour is clear orange with small bubbly white head. Aromas and flavours: Fruits, toffee, sweetness, some hops and malts. Pretty basic.

Cask (handpump) @ [ London Overground pub crawl ]. Barnsbury, 209-211 Liverpool Road, Islington, London, Greater London England N1 1LX.Clear medium amber colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, toffee, nutty notes, light to moderate hoppy. Flavor is moderate sweet and light to moderate bitter with a average to long duration, hazelnuts, caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120114]

Cask at the Grape and Grain, Crystal Palace. Chestnut coloured pour with a white head. Malts, light chocolate and raisin aroma. Chocolate and caramel malt flavour. Smooth. Malt laden finish. Not bad.

Fra cask på Bricklayer’s Arms, Putney 20 Mai 11. Mørk gylden. Nesten ikke skum. God fruktig aroma. Litt mandler og aprikos. Smaken det samme. På det jevne.

Cask at The Pineapple, London. A dark amber beer with a lazing beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, as well as a lighter note of spices, leading to a dry finish.

Clear brown beer. Good balance of malt and hops, neither dominate. Pretty low carbonation. Nice aniseed in the undertone. Very drinkable.

Cask@The Pineapple. Amber colour, small head. Aroma is fruits, some hops and mild nectary notes asa well. Flavour is wood, fruits, earth, herbs and some mild nutty notes.
