[August 2022] Deep gold/pale amber with a creamy white head. Malty and fruity on the nose, it's smooth and creamy with the malt and fruit aroma matched in the flavour with a lovely old school floral bitterness in the finish

Cask at Bear and Billet, Chester Pours the classic “bitter brown” colour with a small white head and good lacing. Nose features malts and biscuits. Taste is reminiscent of ovaltine with a good helping of malts and also a slight hint of peppers . Finish is slightly bitter. As Fat Phil says, this is a Proper Pint !
