Bottle 35,5 cl. Courtesy of madmitch76. Pours an almost clear amber with hardly any head. Caramellish, nutty aroma. Medium body, sweet caramel, nuts and subtle roast. A little chocolate too. Carbonation is somewhat low. Rather subdued bitterness. 301112

Bottle from GBBF 2012, drunk at home. Clear deep brown/red colour. Thin beige head. It’s a brown ale. Some brown malts. Not much hop. Not very interesting, but no bad flavours. Fine, if a little uninspiring. It went down pretty fast though. Not surprising as it was the first beer of the evening.
