We brew Ginger Hare using a measured mix of root ginger, Goldings hops and floor-malted Marris Otter barley. Thanks to these fine ingredients, our brewers' skill and our traditional fermentation process, this is a spicy ale to be reckoned with. Fine filtered for quality, Ginger Hare likes to be stored and served cool.

Bottle from the Utobeer stall in Borough Market. Pours light amber with a slight white head. Aroma has as much ginger as a ginger cookie. Med body. Flavor is not so gingery as the aroma suggested, but it is kind of ginger cookie, and is really pleasant (to one who likes ginger very much). A smooth and mellow ginger beer.

Bottle at Graze, Bath. Pours clear, rich gold with a fine, white cream cap. Zesty ginger aroma with nips of doughy bread. Light sweet flavor, pale malts, lightly dry dough, some crackers and ginger snaps. Light in body with fine to average carbonation, clean, crisp finish with zippy ginger, dry doughy crackers and mellow, quenching straw bitterness. Quite a nice little ginger beer.

Has a thin body so its dominant ginger taste is only mild. Has a full aroma though. Golden with no head.

Amber with a slight, off-white head and moderate carbonation. Sweet, caramel and stewed fruit aroma. Flavour was malty and sweet, with a hint of cardboard and some underlying ginger, which clashed rather than complemented. Verging on the unpleasant.
