Old rating from 23-05-16 - 500ml bottle. Pours a clear golden orange with an off-white head. Aromas of ginger & malt. Tastes of ginger, spice, fruit & hops. Aftertaste is a spiced ginger medium bitterness.

Bottle at a house party when I was trying to wake up my taste buds! A very earthy ginger flavour to this beer that I would say it is more of a ginger beer rather than a beer with some ginger. If you see what I mean. The flavour really didn't do it for me, but it did the job and got me ready for the next round.

500ml bottle at the 17th Feb 2016 Shrewsbury Beer Exchange Group meeting: cheers Mike for this ’tick’. It’s a Ginger beer and tastes/smells and looks like one: I don’t like Ginger flavoured beers. Scored objectively.

500ml bottle @ Shrewsbury Beer Share, courtesy of Mike. Pours clear gold, white head. Aroma is pure ginger root. Taste continues with largely root ginger flavours and a dry finish. Not massively into root ginger, so can’t say this is for me.

Bottle from Prima Beer, Hobro. Clear golden orange with an off-white head. Aroma is dry, malty and ginger. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Sweet and light bitter finish. 270115

Bottle 50 cl. Pours a clear golden with a tiny, white head. Fresh, citrusy ginger aroma. Light body, subtle maltiness but a light, fresh ginger note. Dry finish. Very fresh and quaffable. 080614

Bottled. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of ginger and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of ginger, malt, and straw, leading to a bitter and spicy finish.

50 cl bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is ginger and light citrusy. Bitter, spiced, ginger and light citrusy. Dry, herbal and toasted malty. Dry and bitter finish.

500ml Bottle (Salamander, Bath) - Amber with a small white head. Ginger dominates in the aroma along with notes of pepper and caramel. Gingery and peppery taste with a hint of dried fruit. Refreshing and delicious.
