16/9/2023. Bottle at the Vojens GP beer share. From Marek. Pours slightly hazy pale gold with a short lasting frothy off-white head. Aroma is grainy, caramel, sweet malt, cardboard. Medium sweetness, light to moderate bitterness. Moderate body, slightly oily, average carbonation. Okay.

50cl bottle from a Süpermarket in Girne (Kyrenia), Turkish occupied northern part of Cyprus. 🇹🇷 Smooth and a bit dusty grainy beginning. Easy to drink, refreshing with a nice subtle yeasty dusty background. Full in taste, not too sweetish, no bitterness. Refreshing and round. Nice!

Hazy golden with a white head. Aroma is lightly lemony citrus hop and malt. Medium thin bodied. Flavor is light on the citrus/lemon and light on the malt, too. Easy going with a crisp finish. Decently better than the standard Efes.

Picked up in Istanbul. Pours a hazy and very pale yellow color, topped with a very small white head. There’s not much to the aroma. All I could pick up were some grains and slight malts. Nothing else. The taste was similarly non-expressive. Bland, slightly sweet and grainy, but that was it. To be fair, this one was the worst I found in Istanbul.

0,5 l bottle with an unsual bottle design. Pours pale yellow, unclear, very small white head. Mash on the nose. Starts dry malty, light citrus. Hay on a low level. Thin to the end. Nothing special.

500ml can from Frau Eva’s trip to Izmir. Cloudy golden body, slowly diminishing white head. Grain and hay to the nose. Dough-like taste with sweet fruity hints. Fruity ending. Notes of cardboard on the swallow. Metallic notes as well. Just about drinkable (Shared with Finn at his place, Tromsø 01.102013).

Fra (flere) flasker i Alanya: jøje meg, filtrert eller ufiltrert, dette havner nesten utenfor bordkanten.I godt nedkjølt tilstand er det en (såvidt) passabel tørsteslukker på en varm strand. Tragisk at Efes/Tuborg har noe som minner om monopol i Tyrkia.
