500ml bottle shared with Finn at Tuckers Maltings Visitor Centre. Solid lacing from a stable fawn-coloured head. Deep, rosewood coloured body. Aroma of herbal hops and walnuts. Mixed taste of nuts, dark fruits, chocolate and caramel. Sweet malty ending. Pleasing, rather sweet though (Newton Abbot 27.09.2016).

[500ml bottle from Tuckers Maltings, Newton Abbott] Pours dark brown with a negligible head and no carbonation. Tia Maria aroma. Sweet black coffee continues into the flavour, balanced well against the bitterness of burnt roasted malt. Some chocolate and cough mixture in the finish. Very smooth and easy to drink - the alcohol is (dangerously) not apparent at all. Good stuff.
