This Lambik was taken straight from a 6,000 litre foeder, originating from the Barolo region. This barrel held one lambic brew only, brewed on the 22nd of November 2020. At the moment of emptying the barrel, this blend of lambikken was almost three years and eleven months old.

Horseblanket, wet straw, leather, sherry, sweat, cheese, overripe nectarine. Very sour nectarine & plum, sourdough, bread, straw & dry leather. Woody tannins, old grassy hops, straw, funky notes. Light to medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Very funky, lovely.

On tap at The Star & Garter, Bromley. Nose is orange marmalade, apricot, green apple, Brie. Taste is green apple, orange marmalade, lots of funky sweet & sour nuances. Rather nice.

(Draught at Akkurat, Stockholm, 1 Feb 2025) Golden colour with no head. Fruity nose with mixed fruit, oak wood, barnyard, funk, citrus and grapefruit. Fruity, tart taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, mixed fruit, oak wood and barnyard. Low bitterness. Medium body, dry. Solid and well made, with a fresh acidity. Very nice.

From tap at Davo, Zwolle. Nicely funky and bretty aroma. Picking up notes of raw grain, good puckering sourness. Medium body.
