Pours dark golden with orange hints. Medium sized white head, shows good enough retention and nice lacing. Average intensity in a relatively simple, clean aroma: maltiness upfront with caramel taking the main stage, plus light nutty notes. Red, slightly dried fruit notes, a very light oaky/woody hint (not a barrel aged beer though). Taste shows pretty good intensity and decent complexity: maltiness upfront as the smell suggested (strong caramel, lighter nuttiness), a hint of fruitiness as per aroma, a semi-dry, slighty earthy finish that brings a cleansing feel, perhaps with a hint of floral hops. Nice warming feel, very slightly perceptible alcohol. Quite dense bodied, average, slightly dense-bubbled carbonation; feels nicely full and mouthfilling, though perhaps a bit too burpy. Overall a quite stragihtforward, england-leaning strong ale (but modern, drier and more carbonated); perhaps not too complex but quite intense, clean and overall well made.

Magus, mõru, karamelline, linnaseline, kergelt puuviljane, tsitrus. Ok.
